Supporting the Resilience of Suicide Loss Survivors
In honour of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day
Surviving the loss of a loved one, client, employee, or friend to suicide is a traumatic and, oftentimes, painfully lonely journey – one that might feel as if it is never ending. However, there are compassionate and helpful ways to best support the resilience in suicide loss survivors.
In commemoration of International Survivors of Suicide Day, Vancouver Island Crisis Society is offering Supporting the Resilience of Suicide Loss Survivors, an informative two-hour workshop that will explore the physiological, emotional and spiritual aspects of suicide loss and the impacts of loneliness, isolation, stigma, and bereavement on our emotional and physical health.
If you are interested in having us present this workshop, please contact us at 250-753-2495, toll free at 1-877-753-2495, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include preferred dates and an estimate of how many attendees from your agency or business would participate. Thank you.
Please note that this customizable, three-hour workshop can be facilitated on our premises, at your location, or in a virtual environment.
