Crisis Text
Available by dialling 250-800-3806 every evening from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Crisis Text services provide non-judgemental emotional support via online SMS texting services, as well community resource links. All crisis text conversations are confidential; your privacy is important. We ask for your age and gender for statistical purposes and to provide appropriate resources. Crisis Text primarily serves the Vancouver Island area.
Crisis Text service workers have the right to terminate a texting session if obscene or abusive language is directed at them.
If you are suicidal or in emotional distress outside of Crisis Text hours, please call the Vancouver Island Crisis Line at 1-888-494-3888. If you or someone you know is currently in the act of harming him/herself or someone else, or is in need of immediate medical attention, please dial 911.
