Crisis Line Awareness Week 2019 Workshop

To commemorate Crisis Line Awareness Week 2019, Vancouver Island Crisis Society was pleased to present Crisis, Compassion, and Boundary Setting as a two-hour workshop designed to help caregivers find inroads to connection with clients who are crisis-oriented, or whose difficult behaviours are challenging.

One hour was set aside after each presentation to help folks in five communities find out more about the Crisis Society's Crisis Line, Crisis Chat, and Crisis Text services and to collect resource materials.

A total of 78 persons from Cowichan Valley, Comox Valley, Campbell River, Port Hardy, and Victoria attended the workshop presentations. Thank you to all participants. We are delighted to have visited with many community service agencies on Vancouver Island.
